They have a lighter-colored tread which doesn't leave marks on our lighter colored carpet. They are very comfortable and very well built. I went with the recommendation of ordering one size larger than I normally wear. I usually wear a size 12 Asics shoe. Therefore, I ordered a size 13 reef sandal. They fit perfectly!
